After assisting Holiday Cove Apartments in Forsyth, Ga with some computer networking related issues, we partnered with them to update their website. Their previous website was all HTML based and required extensive training or the use of expensive software to update. The website further lacked the ability to manage keywords and metadata needed to boost their rankings on search engines. We completely redesigned their website from the ground up. We included search engine optimization (SEO) techniques through out the website. We also outfitted the website with a new application form so future residents could apply online. We recently had the opportunity to partner up with Bill Veal and his consulting firm to explore new marketing techniques in the job market. Bill approached me about differentiating his resume from the massive amount of applicants in his job field and exploring a new business venture as a consultant. We worked with Bill to create not just a plain website, but one that was integrated with the hottest social media website in the business world, LinkedIn. On the LinkedIn website, Bill could post his resume, connect with clients and establish referrals. We took it a step further by creating his own website where he could post his own thoughts, utilize SEO, and have potential clients contact him directly. We had the pleasure of working with John and Ron over at Driver Recruiting Services (DRS) on a web design project for their site CDLTrainingNow.com. They (DRS) had a solid working website, but wanted a new and refreshed look. After showing them a couple design mockups at no upfront cost, we quickly began work on a new look for their website. With in a month, that design was complete, search engine optimized (SEO) and fully integrated with all their existing applications. We also redesigned their DRS corporate logo to better match their newly adopted slogan. We were fortunate to partner up with Kelly at West Mane Salon in Forsyth, GA for a complete website redesign. The website had gone through a couple different iterations and it was still cumbersome to update and really didn’t portray the look Kelly (owner) was going for. Within two months, we re-transformed the website with a new design, took photos of the salon, and provided training so Kelly could update the site herself using a simple web-based administrative back-end. Digital Photo Restoration: Max and The Boys

This photo was a challenge to restore. The photo was covered with scratches, creases, and tears. Using the Clone tool in GIMP, a popular photo editing software, I was able to remove the photo’s imperfections. The Clone tool in GIMP allows you to sample a specific portion in the photo and duplicate that portion elsewhere in the photo. You can simply think of it as a copy tool, copying portions of the photo from one place to another. I was able to take existing portions of the photo and copy them directly over the imperfections (scratches, creases, and tears). While the photo may not look exactly like it did in April of 1965, it is pretty close. If you would like your old photos restored to their original quality, contact Adam Ham for an estimate. Digital Photo Restoration: Watkins Girls

This image has been restored to its original quality using GIMP, a popular photo editing software. We started with a photograph that had a unwanted red tint. This type of distortion is called a color cast. A colour cast is a tint of a particular color, usually unwanted, which affects the whole of a photographic image evenly [wiki]. By modifying the red channel with the Curves tool, we were able to remove the color cast; restoring the color to this photo that time had taken away. We then proceeded to remove the scratches in the photo using the Clone tool in GIMP. We finished by applying a few slight enhancements to image.
